Street art and Graffiti Wheat Paste Recipe

Wheat paste is an inexpensive type of glue. It can be made with flour and water, and is used in the Street Art  and Graffiti world to glue Logo,  Art, and Propaganda posters to brick, wood, metal, and concrete walls.
Before we get started you should know that This recipe is the least expensive way to glue Posters to walls. The other option is to go to Home depot and get the pre made Clay Strippable Wallcovering Adhesive designed for Wall paper. This paste will cost $20-$50 for five gallons. and It is much easier to deal with.

Fill you pot with 6 cups of water. Set your stove burner to high and bring the water to a boil. When the water is boiling stir the water with one hand and pour 1 cup of Flour into the pot while continuously stirring . You must continue to stir the mixture until it reaches the desired thickness or the flour will burn and leave your paste with large brown clumps in it. you can still use the paste if it clumps but it wont spread as easily.

When the paste reaches the consistency of a milk shake usually after 2-3 minuets remove it from the heat, and throw it in the fridge for a few minuets.

Once the paste has cooled slightly you can hit the streets with your posters.

To spread the paste I use a Broom Head on a painters extend-able pole, you can also use a Wall Paper Brush, or a Roofers Tar Brush.

If you are going to save the paste for later you need to put it in the fridge so that it doesn’t go bad.

to make more keep doubling the measurement. to get allot of coverage on the streets you will need at least a bucket filled to the top
